About us:
We are a small technology company based in Prague, Czech Republic. We were founded in 2010, at a time when endoscopic towers/cameras were still incredibly expensive and at the same time, inexpensive USB image modules were already available, which provided a comparably good image. The market was young, very little regulated, and not yet saturated.Our main philosophy from the beginning has been that doctors should treat patients, not deal with the intricacies of software. Working with the camera and software must be simple and intuitive.
One of our advantages is that we have educated and highly capable people on our team, partly because we are based in the Czech Academy of Sciences building. In addition, our subcontractors are leaders in their field.
Our first camera was developed on this basis. In 2018, when it became clear that the MDR would come into force, we developed the KX-01 camera for the EU market, which we still sell today with minor modifications. In 2025, we launched the KX-02 camera on the European market, which is unique in several respects.
